For MacArtney A/S i Bur har SETEK leveret PLC– og HMI-software til en Track Tensioner maskine.

Maskinen bruges til at levere et stabilt træk på bla. kabler til offshore industrien.

I samarbejde med MacArtney har SETEK udviklet den software, der styrer hele maskinen og interagerer med det overordnede produktionssystem.

Opgaven var relativt kompleks bla. pga. slutbrugerens krav til opbygning og dokumentation af softwaren.

SETEK’s leverance omfattede rådgivning, PLC og SCADA/HMI system inklusive programmering og test.

Styringen er både på hardware- og softwaresiden primært baseret på Rockwell komponenter.

Anlægget er opbygget omkring en Allen-Bradley Compact GuardLogix Safety Controller bestykket med diverse PointIO moduler.

Maskinen har, via ModBus, et omfattende interface til det overordnede SCADA-system.

Drevene styres af 3 stk. Allen-Bradley PowerFlex frekvensomformere og hele anlægget betjenes via et Allen-Bradley PanelView Plus panel.

Alle primære komponenter er tilkoblet Ethernet/IP på et Device Level Ring (DLR) fejl-tolerant netværk.

DHI has an international test centre for ballast water treatment plants located in Hundested. The control of the plant had to be updated, and this was the task SETEK took care of for DHI.

SETEK's delivery included consulting, design and a completely new PLC and SCADA / HMI system including programming, testing and commissioning.

The installation work was carried out by the local electrical installer with SETEK as advisor and coordinator in connection with installation for the many different special instruments in the system.

The control on both the hardware and software side is primarily based on Siemens components. The central part consists of an ET200SP PLC with a WinCC SCADA system. In addition, there are a total of 7 control stations, each equipped with a LOGO PLC and a KTP400 panel.

SETEK was to deliver a control project for testing wing bearings to a large Danish wind turbine manufacturer.

The challenge lay both in the size of the plant, one of the largest of its kind, as well as its complexity, where huge amounts of data had to be collected. In addition, there were great demands on the security of the solution.

The customer is already collecting large amounts of test data. The task required new thinking, so when SETEK became a supplier and sparring partner for the software part, we had great freedom to find the most optimal solutions.

The system places great demands on safety, so the entire system is built on a distributed TwinSAFE PLC solution from Beckhoff.

The InduSoft SCADA system with full integration of EtherCAT ADS communication to the PLC is used as the user interface.

The solution became, 18 heating sections with individual control loops that control the 72 heaters via pulse control.

The very high temperatures place great demands on technology and materials. Therefore, all temperature measurements are built with thermocouples that can measure high temperatures relatively accurately.

The entire control is handled by a Siemens Simatic 1500SP with a Simatic ET 200SP Profinet node and all operation of the system is done from a Simatic KTP700 HMI panel.

Existing electrical documentation was implemented in a new set of electrical diagrams, so that everything was kept up to date after commissioning and delivery.
