DHI har et internationalt testcenter for anlæg til behandling af ballastvand beliggende i Hundested. Styringen af anlægget skulle opdateres, og dette var opgaven SETEK varetog for DHI.
Dette er et projekt, der fortsætter et mangeårigt samarbejde mellem DHI og SETEK Process & Data.

SETEK’s leverance omfattede rådgivning, projektering og et helt nyt PLC og SCADA/HMI system inklusive programmering, test og idriftsættelse.
Installationsarbejdet blev udført af den lokale el-installatør med SETEK som rådgiver og koordinator i forbindelse med installation til de mange forskellige specialinstrumenter i anlægget.
Styringen er både på hardware- og softwaresiden primært baseret på Siemens komponenter. Den centrale del udgøres af en ET200SP PLC med et WinCC SCADA system. Derudover er der i alt 7 betjeningsstationer, hver bestykket med en LOGO PLC og et KTP400 panel.
